Violet Grove Farms
Located on a 10-acre property in North Saanich, Violet Grove Farms is a family-run operation producing fruit, flowers, and artisan chocolate. The diverse, sustainable farm features over 40 varieties of blooms, more than 100 apple and pear trees, and patches of fresh berries, stone fruit, and rhubarb.
Their signature "Chocolate Experience" offers a tour and tasting not to be missed! Violet Grove Farms crafts its chocolate using single-origin cacao sourced from a small farm co-op in Ecuador. Available in both 85% and 70% cacao bases, their unique chocolate features estate-grown inclusions like farm-harvested apples, wild blackberries, and lavender, alongside creative flavors like espresso and sea salt caramel. To ensure the collection can be enjoyed by everyone, all chocolates are entirely nut-free, gluten-free, and predominantly lactose-free.

Set among the orchards of our sustainably managed farm, the Chocolate Experience takes you on a journey from bean to bar. Learn about single-origin cacao—where it comes from, how it is grown, the remarkable benefits of cacao, and the craftsmanship that transforms it into exceptional artisan chocolate.
Along the way, you'll enjoy a guided tasting featuring more than 12 unique chocolate samples, showcasing both classic and unexpected flavour combinations. Many of our chocolates are inspired by and infused with ingredients grown right here on the farm, including apple, pear, rhubarb, apricot, wild blackberry, lavender, and other seasonal harvests.
