Flavour Trails Festival Weekend

august 15th & 16th 2026

Celebrate 20 years of Flavour Trails by exploring the Saanich Peninsula through a weekend of unforgettable food, farm, and cultural experiences!

This self-guided festival invites you to discover more than 30 farms, markets, cideries, distilleries, gardens, and food businesses across North Saanich, Central Saanich, and Saanich, with welcoming Trail Hubs where you can pick up a festival map, plan your route, and connect with the Flavour Trails team. The Festival Weekend builds on the program's long tradition of connecting visitors with authentic local food, agriculture, and community experiences.

Every stop offers something unique. Join Tsawout and Ahousaht ethnobotanist J.B. Williams for a guided walk exploring traditional Indigenous foods, medicines, and the ecology of PKOLS. Watch border collies in action during sheep herding demonstrations, tour working farms and orchards, meet local growers, enjoy cooking classes, cider tastings, chocolate experiences, flower u-picks, farm tours, artisan markets, and hands-on activities for all ages!

Whether you're passionate about local food or simply looking for a memorable summer adventure, there's something for everyone. The Festival Weekend schedule is drawn from more than 35 confirmed experiences across the Peninsula.
