dominion brook park

Dominion Brook Park is an 11-acre park on the Saanich Peninsula, with a unique horticultural history. It was created by the Canadian Department of Agriculture in 1913 as a public demonstration arboretum and ornamental garden. Visit our About Us page to learn more.

Since 2001, the Friends of Dominion Brook Park Society have been actively restoring the Park. In partnership with the District of North Saanich and the Centre for Plant Health, we continue to maintain the significant heritage collection of shrubs and trees. Volunteers meet weekly from March to October to weed, clean up, prune, and plant. More information can be found on our Volunteer page.
